The laser level came in handy for getting the vertical alignment right and in six hours the fin was welded to the base ready for final structural welding around the perimeter. The size of the rudder came up in two separate discussions over the weekend so after the fit today I was able to stand back and get a good idea of the size. It looks pretty big to me.
