This is a web page for Passion XI a DiDi 120 owned by David and Elaine Edmiston. Here you can see the race program and results as well as happenings for the boat and crew.<\/p>\n

Passion XI is designed by Virginia Beach VA, USA based Dudley Dix<\/a> . Like his previous boat Passion X (also a Dudley Dix design) it was built by David in the yard of his home in West Pennant Hills, Sydney Australia. You can see the building recorded on this site.<\/p>\n

Prior to his X Passions David and Elaine had a Jeanneau SO 37 named Passion. You can see all about Jeanneau Passion in an older mini web site Here.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Passion XI is moored on a swing mooring between at Greenwich on the Lane Cove River in Sydney near to the Greenwich Flying Squadron in Bay Street.<\/p>\n

Jeanneau SO37 Passion was David and Elaine’s previous joy<\/p>\n

David, Elaine and the family have had lots of use from their Passion’s around Sydney Harbour and jaunts to Broken Bay. The photo right is of Elaine at the helm of Jeanneau Passion offshore.<\/p>\n

The Passions all raced with the Greenwich Flying Squadron GFS<\/a> and Royal Naval Sailing Association RANSA<\/a> and are also registered with Gosford Sailing Club.<\/a><\/p>\n

They race in the Wednesday summer twilight and West Harbour Winter Series races at Greenwich and the Winter Wednesday series with RANSA.<\/p>\n

The Passions mostly race with mainsail and genoa but in the Sail Port Stephens Regatta and the Winter West Harbour Series they set asymmetric and masthead symmetrical spinnakers as well.<\/p>\n
